MATCH REVIEW PANEL – FINALS WEEK 2 (PART 2)

AFL Northern Territory (AFLNT) wishes to advise the Match Review Panel has reviewed last night’s rescheduled TIO NTFL Finals Week 2 games.

The following charges have been laid in the senior divisions:   

MEN’S PREMIER LEAGUE

Shannon Motlop, Wanderers Football Club, has been charged with rough conduct during the second quarter of the TIO NTFL Men's Premier League match between St Mary's Football Club and Wanderers Football Club at TIO Stadium on Tuesday 7 March 2017.

Based on the umpire report and video evidence, it was the view of the panel that the incident was classified as careless conduct, high impact and high contact, resulting in a three-match penalty.

In summary, Motlop can accept a two-match as an early guilty plea.

Steven Miles, Wanderers Football Club, has been charged with rough conduct during the third quarter of the TIO NTFL WMen's Premier League match between St Mary's Football Club and Wanderers Football Club at TIO Stadium on Tuesday 7 March 2017.

Based on video evidence, it was the view of the panel that the incident was classified as careless conduct, low impact and high contact, resulting in a two-match penalty.

In summary, Miles can accept a one-match suspension as an early guilty plea.
