2008 season
Played 20 games for the Brisbane Lions averaging 13 disposals, four marks and one goal a game. Provided hard running through the midfield and used his long kick to propel the ball forward. In round six against Melbourne he had 18 disposals, four marks and kicked three goals. He finished the 2008 season ranked third at the club (Brisbane Lions) in total goals, eighth at the club in total kicks and 11th at the club in total disposals and marks. Was traded to Collingwood for pick 93 at the end of the season.
Career
Corrie played five seasons at the Lions notching up 53 games. A knee reconstruction in 2007 saw Corrie miss most of the season. A successful recovery allowed him to play 20 games in the 2008 season using his pace and skill to break the lines and provide effective distribution of the ball. Was traded to Collingwood at the end of the 2008 season.
