Coach Terry Wallace sent Bowden a strong message early last season, with the Tiger veteran given a four-game stint in the VFL. The highly skilled utility returned to chalk up his 250th game and play a key role in narrow wins over Port Adelaide and Essendon. Will continue to be rotated forward and back in 2009.
