AFL Northern Territory wishes to advise the Tribunal sat on Wednesday 22nd February 2016 to hear charges from Division 1 of the TIO NTFL competition adjourned from the previous round.

The Tribunal heard the charge of “behaving in an abusive, insulting, threatening or obscene manner towards or in relation to an umpire; and intentionally making contact with, or striking, an umpire” by Ashton Davey, of Palmerston Football Club during the third quarter of the Round 17 match in the 2016/17 TIO NTFL Division 1 game between Palmerston Football Club and Nightcliff Football Club at Absuild Oval on Saturday 11th February.
In summary, Davey was found guilty of the charge.
Based on the evidence available, he was handed a eight-match penalty.
