As AFLNT does not charge a registration fee for players we charge at the gate to recoup some of the money the organisation spends putting on games. This gate money goes towards insurance, umpires, lights, line marking, casual staff, security and so on.  It does not fully cover all our costs and the NTFL season runs at a loss.

As has been the case for the past 16 seasons, the cost of tickets on Men’s Grand Final Day goes up because the day costs more to run. Umpiring costs increase, so do kids’ activities, entertainment and the staffing and running of extra food stalls and bars. This is the ultimate day on the NTFL calendar and a lot more time, energy and resources go into trying to make it a fun experience for all!
