There are some exciting changes happening to junior footy! Over the next couple of years, we will be transitioning the Thunder Juniors program across to an Under 10s Mixed & Under 13 Girls ‘NTFL Juniors’ competition in the wet season with teams playing under the NTFL clubs banner, which will create a more streamlined pathway for our Juniors into club footy.
As the first step in our transition from Thunder Juniors to an Under 10s Mixed & Under 13s Girls competition, we will be running an 8-week mini season from October - December 2018 during this year's 2018/19 TIO NTFL season.
The mini season will be run exactly like Thunder Juniors and will play under the current Thunder Juniors teams.
Games will be played on a Wednesday afternoon, at both TIO Stadium, Marrara (Darwin teams) and Asbuild Oval, Durack (Palmerston teams) commencing Wednesday 24 October.
