AFLNT are on the lookout for two extraordinary people to join our team, filling the roles of Events and Partnership Servicing Coordinator and Business Development and Sales Executive.

Events and Partnership Servicing Coordinator 

About the role

The Events and Partnership Servicing Coordinator will work closely with the Commercial Manager and all departmental staff to ensure the effective and professional execution of all major events facilitated by AFLNT. The role will also incorporate key servicing of AFLNT’s Corporate Partners, ensuring contractual obligations are met and exceeded.

A day in the life of

  • AFLNT Events – Event Management
  • Oversee delivery of AFLNT events including:
  • TIO NTFL Season launch and themed TIO NTFL Rounds
  • Nichols Medal
  • AFLNT Hall of Fame
  • AFL Games (Darwin and Alice Springs) including corporate functions and ticketing
  • Assist with other events including NT Thunder Club Champion and Chairman's Lunch

Business Development and Sales Executive

About the role

This role is responsible for the sales management of AFLNT's sponsorship and funding opportunities, encompassing financial responsibility for the various Corporate Sales budget across AFLNT, NT Thunder, corporate hospitality and the Michael Long Learning and Leadership Centre.  This extends to the development of client acquisition and renewal strategies to deliver strong commercial outcomes for AFLNT.

A day in the life of

  • Develop and deliver the sales strategy for the Corporate Sales team encompassing whole business;
  • Deliver agreed budgets in line with AFLNT expectations;
  • Alongside the Manager of Commercial and Marketing, manage the financial position of the commercial operations budgets to meet budget targets;
  • Provide regular forecasts and financial updates to Manager of Commercial and Marketing;
  • Be a key contributor to the Commercial Operations team on relevant projects as directed;
  • Work with the Manager of Commercial and Marketing to Identify growth opportunities within the existing business properties, and explore new business concepts for AFLNT;
  • Identify, develop and grow key sales channels; and
  • Work closely with the Events and Partnership Servicing Coordinator to evolve the existing range of product and deliver new innovative hospitality and event options for new and existing clients
