Men’s Division 1
Mishai Perry of the Palmerston Magpies Football Club has been charged with striking player number 15 from Waratah Football Club in the third quarter of the TIO NTFL Men’s Division 1 match between Waratah and Palmerston Magpies at Gardens Oval on Sunday 4 October 2020.
Based on the evidence available, it was the view of the MRP that the incident should be classified as careless conduct, low impact and high contact, resulting in a two-match penalty.
In summary, Perry can accept a one-match penalty with an early guilty plea.
*UPDATED Tuesday 6 October evening*
The Tribunal will not sit after Mishai Perry accepted his early guilty plea.
The umpire's report recorded against Patrick Heenan of the Tiwi Bombers for striking in the Round 1 Men's Premier League game against the Darwin Buffaloes was dismissed by the MRP.
