AFL Northern Territory (AFLNT) wishes to advise the Match Review Panel (MRP) has reviewed all matches played in Round 17 of the 2020/21 TIO NTFL season, and the following charges have been laid:
Women’s Premier League
Dennis Lew Fatt, Coach at Palmerston Football Club has been charged with misconduct in the second quarter of the TIO NTFL Women’s Premier League match between Palmerston and Wanderers Football Club at Cazalys Arena on Saturday 13 February 2021.
Based on the evidence available, it was the view of the MRP that the incident should result in a one-match penalty.
In summary, Lew Fatt can accept a reprimand with an early guilty plea.
Men’s Premier League
Arnold Kirby of Waratah Football Club has been charged with striking in the fourth quarter of the TIO NTFL Men’s Premier League match between Waratah and Darwin Buffaloes Football Club at TIO on Saturday 13 February 2021.
Based on the evidence available, it was the view of the MRP that the incident should be classified as intentional conduct, low impact and high contact, resulting in a two-match penalty.
In summary, Kirby can accept a one-match penalty with an early guilty plea.
The clubs/players via the club's tribunal advocate has until 9:00pm tonight (Tuesday) to accept the early plea or lodge an appeal to have the matter heard by an independent Tribunal.

The tribunal will not sit with both the early guilty plea taken in both cases.
