Signed match-worn North Melbourne guernsey by 2018 squad

A North Melbourne match worn guernsey has been donated by Northern Territory star and North Melbourne player, Jed Anderson, and is valued at $200. The guernsey has the number three on the back and has been signed by the 2018 team. Jed Anderson was a prelisted player with Greater Western Sydney when he was traded to Hawthorn where he played 10 matches across three seasons. He was then traded to North Melbourne at the end of the 2015 season and he has played 14 matches with the Kangaroos.

A cricket bat which has been signed by the 2016 T20 Australian squad who played against India has been donated by NT Cricket. The bat has been signed by Cameron Boyce, James Faulkner, Aaron Finch, John Hastings, Travis Head, Chris Lynn, Kane Richardson, Steve Smith, Shaun Tait, Matthew Wade, David Warner and Shane Watson. The series saw Shane Watson score 124* which is the highest T20 score in Australia and the second highest overall.

Penfolds Grange 2008

A name that all wine lovers will know, two Penfolds Grange 2008 have been donated by Cazaly’s and each bottle is valued at $1,000. The wine was first created in 1951 and the first commercial vintage was released in 1952. The 2008 Penfolds Grange scored a perfect 100 given by eRobertParker.com's Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW. The wine features layers of spice, mulberries, liquorice, blueberries, smallgoods with hints of crushed mint and mocha. The purity of flavour is matched equally with a palate that has a firm foundation of elegant, yet robust tannin and an acid structure that defies belief.

Two Birds by Eric Fejo

An Aboriginal painting by Eric Fejo titled Two Birds has been donated by the Larrakia Development Corporation. Eric Fejo is a born and raised Larrakia Man and has worked as a custodian for Larrakia sacred sites with Aboriginal Areas Protection Authority for many years. The painting is from the Larrakia region and features two magpie geese. The magpie goose has been a staple in Aboriginal art for a long time and is considered one of the best sources of bush tucker by the Larrakia people. This is a chance to own a unique piece of art which symbolises a bird of significance to Larrakia.

Digeridoo by Belyuen Community

Located an hour and a half west of Darwin, the Bulyuen Community is populated by just over 160 people. A digeridoo (Kenbi) by the Bulyuen Community has been donated by the Larrakia Development Corporation. The digeridoo holds a cultural significance in Indigenous history with the didgeridoo traditionally played as an accompaniment to ceremonial dancing and singing. For surviving Aboriginal groups of northern Australia, the didgeridoo is still an integral part of ceremonial life, as it accompanies singers and dancers in cultural ceremonies.

Framed Port Adelaide Shanghai game

This is a piece of history with the first ever AFL match played for premiership points outside of Australia and New Zealand, with the Port Adelaide Football Club and Gold Coast Football Club playing in Shanghai, China in Round 8 of the 2017 season. The framed piece was donated by Beierdorf and is valued at $200. It has been signed by Port Adelaide coach, Ken Hinkley, and Port Adelaide captain, Travis Boak. It also features AFL Photos of the match.

No name in the AFL exudes excitement like Nic Natanui’s and the AFL has donated a 2017 West Coast away guernsey signed by Nic Natanui which is valued at $250. West Coast were semi finallists in 2017 and had one of the most intense finals in history when they played Port Adelaide in the Elimination Final and the match went to extra time, with the game decided by a goal after the siren. Nic Natanui is one of the most athletic ruckmen in the league and is an All-Australian and Grand Final player.
