Aaron Motlop named as NT Thunder Captain for 2015, Shannon Rioli and Justin Beugelaar Vice Captains.
Aaron Motlop will lead the team out for Thunder’s first game of 2015 against the Southport Sharks on Saturday April 18th, being named NT Thunder Captain for the 2015 NEAFL season.
After playing a fundamental role with Thunder over the past 6 years and presenting himself as a steadfast co-captain in the 2014 season alongside fellow leader Cameron Ilett, Motlop will now solely step forward to take the reins of the senior squad in their 2015 campaign.
One of the most respected footballers in both the NTFL and NEAFL competitions, Motlop's calm yet engaging leadership style creates a strong focal point amongst the senior group.
The vice captaincy roles see Shannon Rioli and Justin Beugelaar stand either side of Motlop in 2015, both deserving players in these newly appointed roles, the three individuals bring a plethora of attributes to the leadership of the club.
