Round 3 of the 2018/19 TIO NTFL season is being presented in partnership with AFLNT’s charity partner, the NO MORE Campaign.

AFLNT recognises the important role sport plays in bonding the community and in driving acceptable social behaviour. Domestic Violence Action Plan clauses are part of all TIO NTFL license agreements and this weekend is an opportunity for the league to send the message that family violence is never acceptable.

A number of activations will be rolled out across Round 3 of the NTFL, and all clubs and fans are encouraged to get involved:

1. Men’s and Women’s Premier League clubs to link arms before the start of each of their games. The linking of arms is a symbolic statement to show that everyone who links up is committed to ending the violence no matter where or who they are.

2. Orange armbands will be made available to players/clubs right across the league. Players are encouraged to put it on as a show of support for the No More Campaign.

3. Spirit of the Game Award presented by NO MORE will be awarded to a player from each team following the Men’s Premier League Wanderers vs St Mary’s game on Saturday. The medal recipient will be the best player as deemed by the opposition coach and will be presented by Charlie King, founder of the NO MORE Campaign.

4. A children’s half time sprint during the Wanders vs St Mary’s game on Saturday will be fun for the kids.

5. The NO MORE flag will be flying out the front of TIO Stadium across the weekend and at Gardens Oval on Sunday.
