“Investment in football by all levels of government is needed to ensure that AFLNT is well-positioned to continue to deliver structured football programs for the benefit of all Territorians.
“We are particularly pleased that female football is getting recognised as a key investment priority by the Northern Territory Government and modifications are being made to the change room facilities at TIO Stadium to allow AFLNT to capitalise on the phenomenal growth of female footy,” Solomon said.
“We look forward to working with the Government to ensure that the initiatives announced in their budget today are rolled out in an effective and timely manner. We thank the Minister for Sport and Recreation, Nathan Barrett MLA for his ongoing commitment.
“As always we will work closely with our stakeholders to ensure they benefit the most from these initiatives,” Solomon said.
